Swipe Toolkit ("we", "our", "the extension") is a Chrome extension built for team productivity. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

• Account information: Email address, name, and hashed password when you create an account via team invite.
• Snippets and content: Text snippets, folders, and tags you create within the extension are stored on our server so your team can access them.
• Usage activity: We log actions like AI generations, email validations, and message sends to provide usage analytics to team admins.
• Page content (on demand): When you use the Upwork Proposal Writer, the extension reads the job description from the active Upwork tab. This data is sent to our server for AI processing and is not stored permanently.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect browsing history.
• We do not track you across websites.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use cookies or third-party analytics in the extension.

How Data Is Stored

All data is stored on our secured server. Sensitive settings (API keys) are encrypted at rest. Authentication uses JWT tokens stored in Chrome's local storage.

Third-Party Services

• OpenAI API: Used for AI content generation and proposal writing. Your content is sent to OpenAI for processing. See OpenAI's privacy policy.
• Reoon: Used for email validation. Email addresses you validate are sent to Reoon's API.
• Walytic: Used for WhatsApp message delivery.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Team admins can remove team members, which deletes associated access. Snippets created by a user remain available to the team.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting your team admin or emailing us.
